GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION

Last year in 2023 we held our first April camp over school vacation. We transported our horses, your kids and all the fun to an indoor arena off property. It was a great experience that allowed your kids to see the horse transportation process and experience what it was like to ride in a different atmosphere. This year we are staying on property and exposing your kids to what horsemanship is like at Living Wells Farm in the spring.

If your child has attended our summer camps; just think of it as a summer camp with a few extra layers to stay warm! 

If you are new to our camps, welcome! At our camp your child will learn both on the ground and in the saddle skills, and gain an appreciation for the care horses require. All levels of riders are welcome, from students who have been riding for years to students who have never ridden a horse before.

Camp will take place regardless of the weather. We know most children have their hearts set on riding, but when weather does not cooperate we don’t hang our hats, instead we take pride in teaching more about horse care and responsibilities out of the saddle. As always, we will have games, crafts, and barn activities. We are thankful to have a new heated classroom space to integrate into our daily activities. We pride ourselves in having a fun, safe, and well rounded horsemanship camp in a relaxed environment. LWF spring camp is a great way for young riders to improve their confidence and skills to take horseback riding to the next level. We hope your child can join us!
